World record holder Kipchoge lost a marathon for the first time since 2013 in October 2020 in London, despite being a four-time champion and the favourite to win in St Jamess Park. It's never been done before, like reaching the moon. Kenyas Eliud Kipchoge, the two-time Olympic marathon champion and world record holder, won the Tokyo Marathon in Japan with a time of 2 hours, 2 minutes and 40 seconds Sunday. 120,000 live people, plus many many millions around the world, and an entire team of people from various countries all think it's a beautiful moment in human history. He is a very, very special person from a country that is almost always forgotten on the world stage - except for safaris and runners. He has been training since he was a child. Kipchoge is the first and only person in the world who has ever done this.
